New Website for Albany Diocese Created by Behan

When the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany, NY sought a complete overhaul to its website, Behan Communications was proud to answer the call. Our team created a user-friendly design that works as well on mobile devices as laptops and desktops, with features designed to further the Diocese’s outreach work in the digital world.
Behan and Web Instinct, our long-time HTML development firm partner, worked closely with the Diocese’s communications team to build a brand-new site from the ground up, rather than simply freshening the existing site that was first developed 20 years ago. Troy Burns, Behan Communications’ chief creative consultant, worked with the Diocese and developed the designs for the site.
Diocesan Director of Communications Mary DeTurris Poust said in a news release announcing the launch of the site: “We worked closely with our designer and developer to create a site that is both intuitive and informational for visitors, no matter what their reason for seeking us out.”
The site includes a dynamic search feature for the 126 parishes of the Diocese, streamlines the massive volume of information available, and offers inviting pathways for visitors to quickly find what they are looking for, or to discover new areas of outreach from the Church.
