Behan Communications Inc. provides strategic counsel in crisis communications, community relations, public affairs and corporate communications to clients across several industry sectors, both in the U.S. and abroad. Since our establishment in 1988, we have served clients in 14 U.S. states, the United Kingdom and Brazil from our base in the Capital Region of New York State.
Among our assignments, we have managed communications for General Electric Co. on one of the largest and most logistically complex environmental cleanup projects ever undertaken in the United States, and were chosen by the RACER Trust, one of the largest industrial property owners in the United States, to develop and execute a national public communications strategy related to its remediation and redevelopment of 89 former General Motors locations across the country. We have also led the communications campaign on two successful and highly controversial statewide ballot propositions in New York State.
Our stable team of veteran communicators and strategists has developed a unique combination of experience in corporate communications, grassroots advocacy, community relations and risk communications that we are proud to have put to work for clients in the environmental, manufacturing, health care, higher education, energy, finance, real estate and construction, and technology and innovation sectors.
