Amanda Metzger is a seasoned writer and marketing consultant based in Upstate New York, specializing in storytelling within the travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors. With nearly a decade of experience in marketing and communications, Amanda adeptly navigates both traditional and new media landscapes. Before venturing into communications consulting, Amanda was an award-winning journalist who found fulfillment in giving a voice to marginalized people and ideas. She is deeply passionate about faith, family, music, community, and the conservation of history and the natural world.

Hailing from Binghamton, New York, Amanda is a dedicated spiedie connoisseur. She is an active member of the Rod Serling Memorial Foundation, where she contributes to public relations efforts to preserve and promote the legacy of Rod Serling, the legendary writer and creator of The Twilight Zone, who also hailed from Binghamton. Amanda serves on the Board of Directors for the Lake George Land Conservancy, helping to preserve the water quality of Lake George. Additionally, she is an assistant editor and writer for Endless Summer Quarterly, The Beach Boys' publication of record. In her free time, Amanda enjoys being near or in the water, exploring the woods, reading, writing poetry, meditating, and playing the violin.
