What does Glens Falls Hospital mean by its Promise of Big-City Medicine and Hometown Care? We think this TV commercial provides a great example: surgeons implanting a device that allows women with breast cancer to receive their radiation treatments in five days instead of six weeks, and nurses like Andrea Eichler who provide a level of personalized care unsurpassed in our region. This is one in a series of Big-City Medicine, Hometown Care Promise commercials we’ve produced for our longtime client.

The staff of Glens Falls Hospital’s Wound Healing Center specializes in helping people living with hard-to-heal wounds as a result of diabetes, poor circulation or other medical conditions. This video shows prospective patients how the team diagnoses the reason a wound won’t heal, and develops a personalized care plan — using advanced wound healing therapies, such as Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy — to return patients to a life they can enjoy.

When giant video screens were installed at the Glens Falls Civic Center for the Adirondack Phantoms’ American Hockey League season, Behan Communications came up with a novel way for Glens Falls Hospital’s Rehabilitation Team to introduce itself to the Phantoms’ loyal and active fan base. We worked with the Hospital’s physical and occupational therapists to develop a series of fun and informative “Healthy Tips” videos that are shown during each game. We’re pleased to provide a sample here. The entire series can be seen at www.glensfallshospital.org/healthy-tips.

As the comprehensive healthcare system for a six-county, nearly 3,000-square-mile service area, Glens Falls Hospital is committed to providing Big-City Medicine and Hometown Care close to home for people throughout the region. This commercial features Dr. Kevin Gallagher, one of the many primary and specialty care doctors employed at the Hospital’s 29 regional locations. It’s one in a series of Big-City Medicine, Hometown Care Promise commercials we’ve produced for our longtime client.

Recognizing that women have unique health care needs, Glens Falls Hospital has opened a Woman’s View, a primary care practice exclusively for women. This video introduces prospective patients to Dr. Tanya Lehine and Nurse Practitioner Deborah Dittner and their approach to patient-centered care.

We produced this TV commercial for our longtime client GE, a Grand Champion sponsor of the Washington County Fair. Our goal was to capture with affection and admiration the tradition of youthful competition and community enthusiasm that has characterized the Fair for more than a century. The commercial brings the time-honored tradition of ceremonial torch runs to the Fair — affectionately using an ear of corn instead of a torch.

In addition to the 60-second commercial above, we produced a 30-second version and an online trailer that was shared exclusively through social media networks. You can see the trailer and 30-second commercial below.

GE once again is supporting a variety of excellent, family-friendly local events, and the centerpiece is GE Kids in Free Days, which provides free admission for fans 12 and under to see the ballet, orchestra and select concerts at SPAC; professional tennis in Albany; and minor league baseball in Troy. We prepared this colorful full-page newspaper ad to highlight the many ways in which GE is supporting family entertainment in the Capital Region.

As the nation’s largest environmental dredging project began the second and final phase, the Web site devoted to tracking the work and informing the public was updated to reflect the needs of the project, the client and the public. The Behan team updated and refreshed the content and redesigned the site, modernizing the look and meeting the challenge of providing comprehensive, easy-to-navigate information about this important, complex project.

St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Glens Falls had completed a series of major interior and exterior renovations, and to celebrate, the church invited the community to a daylong open house and distributed 32-page commemorative books full of photos and descriptive narrative chronicling the sweeping changes that had taken place. We wrote and produced the books, along with pledge cards, a DVD of photographs and posters that hung in the church during the open house. Lean more about St. Mary’s and its ongoing capital campaign at www.stmarysglensfalls.org.
