ALBANY, N.Y., February 7, 2012 — Behan Communications, Inc., the leading public relations, marketing and crisis communications firm in New York’s Capital Region, has appointed Anthony Salerno as the Marketing Assistant for its expanded downtown Albany office.

Salerno most recently served as Executive Assistant to the Communications and Marketing department at the Healthcare Association of New York State, where he assisted the department in its various communications and marketing efforts.

I know that working here will provide me with the guidance to learn more and grow as a young professional in this ever-evolving industry,” Salerno said.

Salerno earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the State University of New York at Cobleskill and is beginning his MBA at Sage of Albany this spring. A native of Colonie, he now resides in Albany.
